We have a variety of equipment available to use on investigations but we prefere to rely mainly on our psychic abilities, especially in private houses. We use the various metering and recording systems that we have to offer some type of scientific proof of the existance of spiritual activity. Listed below is the equipment that we have at our disposal and what each item is used for. Video Cameras - All team members carry one each, all with Infra Red "Night-Shot" capability. These are one of our main tools and are used primarily for recording what our psychics are picking up. They have also, on occasions, picked up some rather unusual occurances such as a "Ball of Black Energy" being thrown just in front of Pete during the investigation at Clegg Hall.

Electronic Voice Recorders - We use both Digital and Analog, each having it's advantages. These are usually placed in a sealed off room in an attempt to record any E.V.P. (Electronic Voice Phenomena). This is believed to be the spirits attempting to communicate but is often not audible to the average human ear but can, at times, be picked up on a voice recorder.

E.M.F. (Electro Magnetic Field) Meters - We use several of these to measure any differences in E.M.F. It is believed that when spirits are present they give of a change in the electro magnetic field, this can be monitored on the meters. One of the down sides of an E.M.F. meter is that it will pick up on the energies that are given out by electrical appliances and live wiring therefore when a reading is detected it is important to rule out any possible electrical sources in the vacinity before you can say that it is "possibly" spirit.

Temperature Sensors - Again we use several different types of these. One has a remote semsor that can be placed in a sealed off room with a voice meter to chech on any temperature fluctuations that might coincide with any E.V.P. that is recorded. The other type are Hand Held Lazer Guided Thermometers. Our investigators usually carry one each to check on any sudden temperature fluctuations when they believe that they are in the presence of any spirits. Sudden temperature drops are common when there is a spirit nearby!

Negative Ion Meters - These instruments record fluctuations af Negative Ions or Radiation in the atmosphere. There is a theory that when a spirit is trying to materialise they draw energies from the atmosphere around them which will cause a fluctuation in the readings of these instruments. Sadly we can neither confirm or rule out this theory as we have not noticed any fluctuations on these meters during investigations.

Digital Cameras - All of our investigators carry and use at least one. Ours are a minimum of 5 megapixels. One of the down sides of compact digital cameras is that they are prone to recording "ORBS". Many inexperienced paranormal investigators claim that orbs the first signs of the materialisation of a spirit. The sad scientific truth is that 99% of orbs are nothing more than moisture or dust particles in the air causing a reflection on the lens from the flash! (Don't be deceived by sites that have dozens of photos of orbs plastered all over their photo galleries, they are only fooling themselves!)

Infra Red Motion Sensors - These are used to place across the entrances to rooms that we want sealed off during investigations. i.e. where we are attempting to record any E.V.P. By using these we are allerted by a signal if anyone or anything solid breaks the beam in order to tamper with our equipment or try to deceive us.

Two Way Radio Communicators - We use these on investigations that we carry out on larger properties and out door investigations. It is important to know where various gropus or individual members of the team are during investigations and we need to be in contact with one another in case an accident should occur.
